I joined the Industrial Diseases department at Hodge Jones and Allen in early 2019, where I assist Isobel Lovett. Our work revolves around helping individuals who have become victims of devastating asbestos-related diseases caused by negligent employers.
Having a Criminal and Civil Law background, I’m passionate about being a voice for and representing all vulnerable individuals and bringing justice for them and their families.
I am extremely passionate about, and am an advocate for, children and animal rights. I have a particular interest for street and ‘working’ animals who have been physically and mentally abused or mistreated and need to be rescued, understood and re-homed- so that they do not only regain trust in humans but also regain their personalities back.
I have also spent many years working with under privileged deaf and blind children in a school in Pakistan. These children are often misunderstood or abandoned by their parents. I would not only teach them their yearly curriculums but would also spend hours engaging with them in other conversations about themselves, their ideas and lives, as they would crave social interaction and validation.
Other than that, I enjoy travelling, experimenting with cooking new vegetarian dishes and interior decorating!
