What is Cauda Equina Syndrome?
Cauda Equina syndrome is a very specific spinal cord injury and occurs when the nerves in the spinal canal have been damaged. Cauda Equina syndrome affects the nerves supplying the muscles of the legs, bladder, bowel and genitals.
