About Denilson Marku
Denilson is a Trainee Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team.
He joined the firm in June 2024 as a Paralegal in the Criminal Defence team and was promoted to Senior Paralegal in May 2025. During his time in the team, he worked on a wide range of matters, including allegations of murder, sexual offences, large-scale drug conspiracies, protest-related offences and road traffic cases.
Denilson is also an accredited Police Station Representative and has represented clients at police stations, providing legal advice during criminal investigations and interviews under caution.
In September 2026, he commenced his training contract with the firm, moving into the Medical Negligence team for his first seat.
Notable Cases
- Murder – R v PA – Assisted in representing a shop assistant charged with murder and manslaughter following a fatal stabbing. The defendant relied on self-defence and was acquitted of both offences following trial at Wood Green Crown Court
- Protest – Just Stop Oil activists – Assisted in representing defendants charged with intentional harassment following a protest outside the then-Prime Minister’s home. The defendants were acquitted following a successful submission of no case to answer.
- Wounding with intent – R v LWS – Assisted in representing a young defendant charged with wounding with intent and affray. The defendant was acquitted of wounding with intent and convicted of the lesser offence of unlawful wounding and affray, ultimately receiving a suspended sentence.
