About Eloise Carey
Eloise began her training contract in September 2021 and is completing her first seat in the Crime Department, assisting Raj Chada and Michael Schwarz. Eloise has previous experience in Regulatory law and in particular health care regulators, and was also a keen member of the Race Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage network and book club at her previous firm.
Eloise recently worked with Raj Chada representing a client charged with assault of a police officer. Eloise drafted an application to dismiss the case which was not opposed by the prosecution. The client has now been referred to the civil liberties team who may represent him in an action against the police and for malicious prosecution.
