A night of dramatic workplace scenarios and networking

Join us for drinks and see our team of HJA amateur actors demonstrate, through role play, how not to deal with common employment issues, from an employer’s perspective. Informative and fun!

  • Scenario 1 – Kate raises a grievance following concerns about discrimination. Is the grievance investigation reasonable or does it amount to victimisation?
  • Scenario 2 – Sean is instructed to carry out a redundancy consultation with his team, including Kate who is currently on maternity leave. What should he consider when deciding who is included in the selection pool?
  • Scenario 3 – Gary has not been following his employer’s social media policy posting inappropriate comments about work on Facebook. Is the disciplinary process that follows reasonable?

Opportunities for more wine and networking will follow after the performances and interactive sessions. Food will also be provided.
