Last month, the Government announced the detail of the Policing and Crime Bill, citing it as new legislation that would aim to ‘finish the job of police reform.’ The Bill includes measures to reform the police disciplinary and complaints systems with a view to improving public confidence in the ability to hold the police to account and to ensure police officers uphold the highest standards of integrity.
