If you have suffered physical or mental injuries as a result of a car accident then you have a right to submit a claim for compensation for this and associated financial losses. Your claim will succeed if we can prove that the car accident was not your fault (or even if you were partly responsible you can still make a car accident claim).
Our cases are funded through a conditional fee agreement which is more commonly known as No Win No Fee.
This means that you won’t have to pay anything up front, and there is no financial risk to you if your claim is unsuccessful provided you have taken out After the Event Insurance (ATE). This will cover you for any costs against you, in the event your claim is unsuccessful, so there is no risk to you at all.
Being involved in a road traffic accident that was not your fault can affect your ability to work and also put you in a much financially worse position. This is especially true if you have suffered severe injuries which have a life-altering consequence.
Once you have sought initial medical assistance following the accident you may wish to pursue a road traffic accident claim for damages. This could assist with providing access to early rehabilitation and interim compensation payments to cover some immediate losses or expenses incurred.
It is in your best interest to contact a specialist solicitor as soon as possible to start the road traffic accident claim process. Call our team of experienced solicitors who will provide you with a free no obligation consultation and advise you on the next steps you should take.
The team will assess your case based on the information provided. We may need to secure additional evidence including an independent medical report of your injuries.
Once we have this we will process your claim and support you with getting access to other supporting services should they be needed, such as rehabilitation or home adaptations and 24 hour care in the most serious cases.
As every injury is personal, the amount of compensation you could receive will be personal to you based on the set of unique circumstances around your injuries. Personal injury compensation is assessed by looking at two types of compensation:
The actual injury element of the compensation, the pain you are suffering due to the road traffic accident and its impact on you and your family. The more serious injury you have suffered, the higher the compensation you may be entitled to.
The financial losses that flow from the injury. Any expenses you have incurred like medical bills, rehabilitation, loss of income and pension as well as any future cost.
Rehabilitation and care is our primary focus. We recognise every injury and every individual are different so the treatment and recommendations will be tailored to you and your symptoms.
We have got an award winning team of specialist personal injury solicitors. Latest award – the Winner of The Legal 500 London Firm of the Year 2019 in the category: Insurance for Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.
We are independently ranked leaders in the field of personal injury with a proven track record of high-value settlements.
A car accident claim must be brought (submitted to the court) within three years of the date you suffered an injury or three years of you being aware that you have suffered an injury. There is an exception for children under the age of 18 years who have until they reach their 21st birthday to submit their claim to court.
