Hodge Jones & Allen’s highly ranked Civil Liberties team is seeking a solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to join our successful and growing practice.
Candidates should have experience in actions against the police, inquests, HRA claims or judicial review.

Housing Solicitor 1 – 4 years PQE
We’re seeking a solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE to join our friendly and highly ranked Housing team.
You’ll need solid experience in housing law, including legal aid, CFA and private work, particularly disrepair, homelessness appeals, possession cases and housing-related judicial review. Joining a nationally recognised and growing department, you’ll manage a varied caseload and deliver excellent client care.

In-House Proclaim Developer – 6 Month FTC
We are now seeking an In-house Proclaim Developer to join the firm in January 2026, on a six month fixed-term contract to enhance our internal systems and support our dedicated teams. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Proclaim software to develop, maintain, and optimise our case management solutions, ensuring they meet the dynamic needs of our legal services and client interactions.

Medical Negligence Solicitor 3-8 Years PQE
We are looking to grow our department and are seeking a Public Inquiry solicitor with 3-8 years PQE, to work with our family and lived experienced Core Participants on the Lampard Public Inquiry, investigating mental health deaths in Essex.
The successful candidate will have a passion for access to justice and previous Public Inquiry experience.
Experience of inquests, psychiatric and fatal cases, medical negligence and claims involving Human Rights Act issues is also preferable.
Personal Injury Solicitor 3-5 Years PQE
We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigator with the ability to handle a mixed caseload of personal injury matters.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent litigator with good communication skills and be able to work in a team and as an individual.
