Personal Injury Partner

Due to continued growth the team is looking to recruit an additional, heavyweight partner to add gravitas and experience to the department which were finalists in the PI Awards 2022.

Over the past 45 years HJA have helped thousands of people recover compensation for their injuries and illnesses with many cases settling for over £1 million.

The ideal candidate will likely exhibit all or most of the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 15 years’ post qualified experience of claimant work gained at a reputable claimant PI firm
  • Significant experience of catastrophic loss and high-end multi-track cases.
  • A proven track record of obtaining work through personal referrals and/or other sources with the potential to bring cases across to HJA if offered a position with HJA.
  • An ambitious, driven and outgoing personality with a strong team ethic
  • An enthusiasm for marketing and promotion of the department
  • A commitment to a collegiate approach to legal practice, and the willingness to advise and mentor other members of the team.
  • Good case management
  • The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a real commitment and empathy with assisting and supporting injured individuals

It is not necessary for the incoming partner to be based in London: HJA sources and handles work successfully from around the country.

In addition, HJA is willing to support any specific sub-sector of personal injury work which the incoming partner may have an interest in.

The salary will be competitive depending on the individual’s circumstances. Ideally this will be a 5 day a week position, although flexible working is very much a possibility. The Covid lockdown has proven the firm’s ability to seamlessly run departments remotely.
