About Alba Robles Jimeno
Alba is a paralegal in the Crime Defence team at Hodge Jones & Allen. She is currently working on the Undercover Policing Inquiry, helping to represent over 100 core participants who were subjected to covert police surveillance.
Alba joined Hodge Jones & Allen in May 2024 as a Legal Assistant in the Personal Injury Team. Within this role, she gained experience in a variety of claims, including employers’ liability, road traffic accidents, and public and occupiers’ liability cases. Before joining the firm, Alba volunteered as a pro bono legal assistant at St James Legal Advice Centre.
Alba graduated with a first-class LLB law in 2023 and passed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination 1 in January 2025. She represented her university in the UK National Mediation Competition 2023 (SOAS) and the National Student Negotiation Competition for England & Wales 2022 and 2023 (CERD). Alba also participated in the Gray’s Inn University Advocacy Day 2023 and the Ministry of Justice Mentoring Programme (2021-2022).
