We believe that the legal services we offer provide value for money and we give accurate costs estimates throughout the legal process so you know on an ongoing basis what our charges are.
If you would like overall information and advice on divorce and financial provision, we offer a fixed fee meeting at £300 plus VAT with an experienced lawyer, who will take you through and cover all aspects of divorce and financial provision.The meeting would usually last between 1-2 hours and will cover all questions that you have.
Please note that the fixed fee meeting has no follow up attendance note or letter and if you do require advice in writing there will be an additional charge.
If your divorce is amicable and both parties consent to a divorce, then we offer a fixed fee to take you from start to finish. We will see you for an initial consultation, provide you with our divorce information pack, complete all paperwork on your behalf and complete your divorce for you.
If you want to start the divorce process, we offer a Petitioner service for £999 plus VAT. There is an additional court fee of £550.
If your spouse has started, or is about to start, the divorce process, we offer a Respondent service for £540* plus VAT.
A fixed fee divorce is a quick and easy way to divorce, or to dissolve your civil partnership.
* A fixed fee divorce is available where you and your spouse agree to the divorce. When you contact us, we will complete a short suitability assessment to confirm eligibility for a fixed fee divorce.
** This special fixed fee rate does not cover negotiating family finances, resolving childcare arrangements, Bailiff fees for personal service of the divorce petition or any other court fees in relation to service further legal steps in the event that there are difficulties with serving the respondent with the divorce petition or other complexities. If this is the case, we will discuss this with you the likely legal costs – in advance. The fixed fee Respondent service does not cover negotiating family finances, resolving childcare arrangements, the Petitioner’s costs if a costs order is made against the respondent, defending the divorce petition.
