Hodge Jones & Allen Representing Staffers in ICGS Privacy Breach
Hodge Jones & Allen are representing several staffers in respect to privacy breaches by Parliament’s Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme (ICGS) in the course of its investigation into the conduct of Liam Byrne MP.
It has been reported that during the ICGS’ investigation into allegations of bullying made against Mr Byrne – which upheld early this week – the MP for Birmingham Hodge Hill was shown unredacted transcripts revealing the comments and identities of those who had submitted evidence against him.
Witnesses had been assured that their evidence would be treated confidentially.
Comments will be provided in due course.
