About Emily Cope
Emily is a current Trainee in the Dispute Resolution department with extensive experience in civil rights, public service, and employment law. Most recently, Emily completed a traineeship at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, contributing to human rights initiatives and the abolition of the death penalty. Prior to this, Emily worked as a Paralegal at Thompsons Solicitors, managing complex employment claims, and as a Paralegal at Leigh Day, supporting the landmark Asda Equal Pay case. Emily also gained experience at Broudie Jackson Canter, working on Covid-19 public inquiries.
Emily holds an LL.M in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law and an LL.B (Hons) in Law with Criminal Justice from Liverpool John Moores University.
