About Christina Ashibogu

Christina joined Hodge Jones & Allen’s medical negligence department in June 2025. She is one of the lawyers representing several individuals and families in the Lampard Inquiry, the UK’s first ever statutory public inquiry investigating failings in mental health care in Essex. Christina has over 11 years’ experience in the field of Public Inquiry and Public law work.

Prior to joining Hodge Jones and Allen, Christina led teams representing a vast range of clients in several other inquiries; including the Undercover Policing Inquiry, the Covid-19 Public Inquiry and the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. Christina’s past clients have included political figures, social justice campaigners, bereaved families and victims of sexual violence.

Alongside her inquiry work, Christina practiced as a civil liberties solicitor, representing a range of clients in varied actions against the police and state. She has a particular expertise in deaths in state custody cases and inquest proceedings.
