It is Headway’s #Action for Brain Injury Week ( 20th May 2019 to 26th May 2019)
This year the focus is on fatigue.
A number of events are taking place this week to raise awareness of the effects of the #Brain Drain that is fatigue. There are many initiatives by the charity to raise their profile and funds: including Hats for Headway Day on Friday 24th May 2019 (simply wear a wacky hat and donate £2.00 to help improve life after a brain injury).
Headway is a registered charity which works with those individuals and their families and carers who have been affected by a brain injury. Headway provides invaluable support to those affected by ABI.
The aim of Action for Brain Injury Week is to highlight the impact that a brain injury can have on the entire family and carers.
At Hodge Jones & Allen our specialist Personal Injury Lawyers represent clients who have suffered head injuries. Fatigue is a little recognised and understood side effect of a Head Injury. It is hoped that #ABIWeek will improve knowledge and understanding in this area. Hats off to Headway for their invaluable work!
