Julie Say, leading clinical negligence solicitor comments on latest negligence by HIV clinic

It has been reported that a London health centre has mistakenly leaked the details of hundreds of patients who have attended HIV clinics. The 56 Dean Street Clinic in Soho shared the names of and email addresses of over 700 clinic patients when it sent out a newsletter.

Expressing her concerns, Julie Say said “From the comments I have read and people I have spoken to, patients are already deeply affected by what has happened. Disclosure of this sensitive information could have huge consequences for these patients on many levels in their life. This should not have happened”.
