Our civil liberties team has launched a new blog aimed at shining a light on current developments in civil liberties and human rights in the UK. The blog will include insights into the latest court decisions, discussion of government policies, practical pieces on how civil liberties law affects all of our lives and a look at the ongoing debate around the Human Rights Act.
Our civil liberties team is one of the UK’s foremost teams in bringing actions against the police and state authorities. The team has a track record of holding authorities to account, including police forces, the Independent Police Complaints Commission, the Prison Service, Coroners, the Ministry of Defence, the Crown Prosecution Service, immigration detention centres and healthcare providers.
