About Amy Constant
Amy is a Solicitor within the housing law team. She has a range of experience in housing law, including disrepair claims, homelessness matters, succession, judicial review challenges and defending possession proceedings.
Before specialising in housing law, Amy’s work involved education law and Court of Protection work. She worked for a legal charity assisting parents of children with special educational needs, to challenge their educational and social care support in the SEND tribunal. Her Court of Protection work remains relevant when issues of mental capacity arise during housing litigation. She frequently receives instructions from clients who are vulnerable or disabled.
Amy has experience advocating for clients in the County Court and regularly appears as the duty solicitor with the Housing Loss Prevention Advice Service.
Amy is committed to social justice and ensuring landlords and public bodies comply with their obligations. She has a keen interest in helping tenants to secure safe and suitable housing.
