We are currently seeking a dedicated Subject Access Request Administrative Assistant/Administrative Assistant to join us on a fixed term contract for an initial period of six months.
This role is essential in helping us facilitate the management and processing of Subject Access Requests effectively. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients receive timely and comprehensive responses to their requests while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with relevant data protection legislation.

Responsibilities
- Manage and process subject access requests in compliance with data protection laws and internal procedures.
- Collaborate with legal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for client requests.
- Ensure timely responses to subject access requests, adhering to specified deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of all requests and communications in accordance with firm policies.
- Assist in drafting responses and preparing documentation for review by legal professionals.
- Monitor and report on the status of ongoing requests to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support training and development of staff on subject access request procedures and compliance matters.
- Assist all legal teams with general administration.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in using legal management software and standard office applications.
- Familiarity with data protection legislation, including the GDPR and related compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
- Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is preferred, but not essential.
Hours of Work
Core office hours will be 9.30am to 5.30pm, 5 days per week. Taking account of the nature of the role, a degree of flexibility will be required so as properly to fulfil the responsibilities and duties associated with the position.
This is an office-based role.
Salary is London Living Wage.
