About Ria Johal
Ria Johal is a Paralegal in the Private Client Department at Hodge Jones & Allen, where she assists Christine Dyson with Court of Protection and Deputyship matters.
Ria joined Hodge Jones & Allen in August 2025 as a Legal Assistant in the Housing Department, supporting fee earners across a wide range of matters. During this time, she gained experience assisting with housing disrepair, possession, and succession matters, as well as providing administrative and case management support to the team.
In September 2026, Ria joined the Private Client Department as a Paralegal, where she assists on Court of Protection and Deputyship matters. She is committed to delivering a high standard of client care and supporting vulnerable clients and their families through often complex legal processes.
Prior to joining Hodge Jones & Allen, Ria volunteered at the University of Westminster Legal Advice Clinic within the Housing Department, where she assisted with housing-related matters and gained valuable experience working directly with clients.
