About Abdurrahman Sufi
Abdurrahman is an experienced Paralegal in the Family team, working closely with our Family Partners, Sarah Norman-Scott and Raj Bhattoa, since September 2025. He assists on a range of family law matters, including financial remedies on divorce, protection from domestic abuse, child arrangements, and child maintenance. He is particularly interested in emerging and more specialised family law issues, such as arrangements for pets following separation or divorce (“petnup” agreements) and parental responsibility for same-sex partners.
Abdurrahman first joined Hodge Jones & Allen as a Legal Clerk in 2018 while completing his undergraduate law degree. He worked as a Paralegal in the Housing and Dispute Resolution teams, representing vulnerable clients in unsuitable living conditions and obtaining compensation for victims of the Post Office Horizon IT scandal. He completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in December 2024.
Abdurrahman is known for his conscientious attention to detail and his commitment to progressing matters efficiently. He leads with a calm, compassionate, and understanding approach, ensuring clients feel heard and guided through every stage of the process.
