About Matthew Wong
Matthew is a paralegal in the Civil Liberties and Human Rights team. He assists Gimhani Eriyagolla and Sarah Flanagan on a varied and complex caseload including civil claims against the police and other public authorities, particularly in relation to false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, and breach of human rights. He also assists in representing bereaved families in inquests arising from deaths where there has been state involvement and asylum support cases.
Matthew joined Hodge Jones & Allen in October 2024. He previously volunteered at Nucleus Legal Advice Centre, providing free legal advice to individuals on a range of issues including housing, debt, and benefits.
