Prosecution Offer No Evidence Against Client Accused of Assaulting Police

Despite strong CCTV evidence, the client was cleared, preserving her employment and personal record.

Our client Miss S had been in court for assault on an emergency worker, having spat at police officers and inflicted criminal damage (urinating in a police cell).

The client was in custody for four days, went to the magistrates and took the matter to the Crown Court. She did not instruct us until after the Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing’ (PTPH) as she recalled that we had represented her before for the same offence and the crown did not proceed on the last occasion that we represented her.
