About Asli Polat
Asli joined Hodge Jones & Allen in June 2025 as a Senior Claims handler working within the Personal Injury and Industrial Disease department.
Asli is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with nearly 20 years of experience in Personal Injury Claims handling. Asli handles claims from the inception to settlement, negotiating the highest possible settlement for her client’s and issuing court proceedings were this is not possible.
Having worked closely with Trade Unions and insurers, she has been able to establish positive working relationships with people from all walks of life and of all levels including senior union officers and Judges.
Asli ensures discretion and confidentiality in all work areas and act in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
She is personable and approachable and passionate about working in a diverse environment.
Asli was a GMB Trade Union staff representative during the firms restructure following Lord Jacksons reforms. She was a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team within her previous employment and arranged various events in support of National Inclusion Week, LGBT History Month, Black History Month and Mental Health Awareness week
For a number of years Asli was also a representative for the Medical Agency Medical & Legal Professional Services for the Personal Injury Team, providing staff with training, support and updates on the Medical Instruction processes.
Asli is currently a member of the social media team at Hodge Jones and Allen.
Notable Cases
- Asli has represented numerous clients and has carried out her own advocacy for various pre action disclosure application, infant settlement approval hearings as well as CICA (Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority cases).
- One of Asli’s most notable cases was successfully representing a client for an appeal application for Criminal injuries Compensation after the CICA rejected the Claimant’s claim for compensation following a terror attack in London.

Asli can be described as an epicurean (a personal who loves food and travel). She loves being culturally curious and seeking authentic experiences, immersing herself in local customs, traditions, and foods to better understand different cultures. When she is not running around after her 4 children, she loves long woodland walks, self-care and watching Turkish soap operas and on YouTube.
