Inter Partes Cost Clerk
Salary – dependent on experience

This is an administrative role within the inter partes billing team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with the processing of draft bills of costs, assisting with costs negotiations, drafting costs schedules, preparing and posting internal bills for costs and damages, finalising and closing cases, accounting to clients with their damages, dealing with general inter partes costs queries, as well as providing ad hoc assistance and cover to other team members.

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, good time management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The Inter Partes Cost Clerk will be fully committed to providing an excellent service to clients and fee earners and will be an integral part of the team.  They will also need to be numerate and have excellent attention to detail.

Full training and ongoing support in the role will be given.

The candidate will require strong IT skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel, as well as a working knowledge of Outlook.
