Hodge Jones & Allen LLP is looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner on a fixed-term contract.
This is a six-month fixed term administrative role providing support to the firm’s Managing Partner in all her day-to-day duties. These include: carrying out strategic research and presenting findings; producing management reports; preparing data analyses; preparing agendas and materials for board and other meetings; attending and taking notes at senior management meetings; distributing minutes; booking and arranging transport and accommodation; diary management; administering correspondence; managing calls, emails and diary; preparation for meetings including booking rooms and arranging lunches etc.; and general admin tasks.
You will need to have good administrative and literacy skills, be methodical, be able to work on your own initiative, and have a flexible and enthusiastic attitude. Working in an organised manner, paying attention to detail and good time management are important. You will also need to be discreet, as you will be handling confidential and sensitive information.
Good computer skills are essential, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills.
This role will suit a graduate who is looking for that first step on their career ladder, as it will provide deep insight into the duties and responsibilities of a chief executive position, from strategic matters through to daily basic admin.
