How can I bring about a claim?

To apply for redress you must complete an official application form which is designed to give the Irish Redress Board as much information as possible to deal with your application. In assessing compensation, the Irish Redress Board takes into account the severity of the abuse, the extent of the physical and mental injuries suffered by the applicant and the loss of opportunity resulting from the abuse and its effects. The Board can award up to a maximum of £200,000.
