If you have been arrested at a protest and require legal advice, contact our expert protest law team on our emergency police arrest number: 07659 111 192.
Protesting is a key part of a democratic society and one of the best ways to bring about change. In the United Kingdom, we owe many of the rights we have today to the people who were willing to protest for them. Over recent times, protests have become larger and more frequent than they have been for some years.
Some protests have made headlines because they have become violent, with clashes between protestors and the police. This has led to police arrests on a large scale. People who are arrested may have simply got caught up with a dissident crowd, or are simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. In an emotionally-charged atmosphere, the police may lose control due to the size and mood of the crowd, leading to a higher proportion of police arrests. Hodge Jones & Allen protest law team defends clients against charges including trespass, criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.
