Case report: Public order offences

Our client, along with a number of defendants, was charged with
public order offences (violent disorder and affray) arising out of
football- related violence following the FA Cup 5th Round clash
between Chelsea v Cardiff city on 13th February 2010.
We put forward a legal argument about the policing that day and
also challenged the authenticity of some of the footage relied on
by the prosecution. As a result, our client was one of
the few to be acquitted and the only one to be acquitted in this
trial.
