If you have a strong claim then pursuing it usually shouldn’t cost you a penny. In addition, there are a number of other ways in which you may be able fund your clinical negligence claim:

• Conditional fee arrangements: also known as ‘no win, no fee’. If we think you have a strong case then we may be able to offer you this option.
• Public funding: also known as legal aid, the support you receive may depend on your circumstances and may fund either part or all of your legal expenses.
• Legal expenses insurance: this often exists as an ‘extra’ on a home insurance policy, however there can be a strict time limit for claims to be made so make sure you contact us as soon as possible if you would like to look at funding your claim in this way.
• Trade Union support: certain Trade Unions provide schemes for free legal assistance so if you are a member then you should discuss your options with your local union representative.
