Last night 170 guests from 69 law firms
attended the seventh annual LawCareers.Net Training &
Recruitment Awards.The awards, which recognised the best
recruiters and trainers among law firms, were based on a large
survey of nearly 3,000 trainee and newly qualified solicitors.
LawCareers.Net publisher Matthew Broadbent
said: “The last year has been a particularly tough one for those
joining or trying to join the legal profession. It is fantastic
that there are beacons of excellence in all areas and branches of
the law that take the training and recruitment of new members of
their community seriously. A career in law is a continuously
evolving journey of learning, experience and knowledge. Those who
are trained to the highest standard and are recruited on the basis
of employers’ clear-headed identification of potential that is
worth nurturing have the best chance of thriving and dealing with
everything that such a career throws at them. All the winning
organisations should be proud of themselves.”
