    Legal aid

    If your case is in the Magistrates’ Court, you may be entitled to legal aid, subject to means testing.

    If your case is in the Crown Court, you may be entitled to receive legal aid, but you may have to make a contribution towards this, again dependent upon your income. If your income is over a set limit, then you will not be eligible for legal aid.

    Fixed fee

    We may be able to provide advice or representation to you under a fixed fee. This is particularly the case if you need representation at a single court hearing. Please feel free to ask your solicitor about this option.

    Legal expenses cover

    Many household and motor insurance policies provide for the payment of legal costs. We are happy to consider your policy documents and advise whether you can take advantage of this type of arrangement.
